UK OUG Conference is Europe's largest independent applications and technology event for the Oracle community. The conference is being held at Birmingham’s ICC between 14th and 17th November and Griffiths Waite has been selected to present four presentations:

The APP Server SIG is a popular forum to learn how application server and Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies can be most effectively employed to support applications and business.
Griffiths Waite are presenting on the 12th October at Oracle’s office in Blythe Valley Park, West Midlands.
The presentation titled 'BAM – The Visibility into SOA' provides an overview of what BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) brings to SOA and this will be demonstrated through a number of case studies.

Casewise a recognised leader in the BPA market invites Griffiths Waite to present at their Global Annual Conference in September at DisneyLand Paris on the 28-29th September.
BPA (Business Process Analysis) is a combination of tools and methodologies that are used to save cost, add value, reduce time and reduce risk. The presentation titled 'How to kick start SOA' provides an insight into starting a successful SOA Project and demonstrates how BPA is a vital ingredient.

Butler Group Strategy Briefings are high-level, business-to-business events that bring leading IT suppliers and solution providers together with senior-level decision makers from end-user organisations. The format is quite unique, consisting of a keynote introduction by Butler Group, followed by presentations from the Primary Sponsors and other participating sponsors. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is the next evolutionary step in producing a technology infrastructure that will allow IT to give true competitive advantage to the business, providing flexible systems aligned with their business needs. Business Process Execution Language (BPEL) is the standard for modelling and orchestrating business processes in this Service Oriented world and can help unleash the value from existing legacy applications.
Griffiths Waite will demonstrate how processes within a legacy system were automated and orchestrated with the Oracle BPEL tools to expose legacy functionality to new channels.
The demo will show how the BPEL solution interacts with external partners, internal PL/SQL packages, existing Oracle Forms and JSP screens to provide agile long running services spanning multiple business areas and IT systems.
