STREAMLINE "ONBOARDING" WITH SOA

"Onboarding" consists of the pre and post-hire processes required to effectively transition a new employee into an organisation or role. This is a top challenge for organisations, often being costly, inefficient and error-prone. Using Oracle BPA Suite and Oracle SOA Suite, Griffiths Waite will show how SOA offers an ideal platform to integrate HR, payroll, IT, security, facilities and other functions into a cohesive business process, leveraging legacy systems without the costs of a full-scale rip and replace. With SOA, onboarding becomes a succession of automated Web services that accelerates business processes and reduces administrative intervention. The result: greater standardisation across business units and more effective compliance, providing a foundation for enterprise SOA.

MIGRATING ORACLE FORMS TO SOA AND J2EE (ORACLE ADF)

Griffiths Waite's Forms to SOA Roadmap is the easiest and fastest way for customers to continue to leverage their existing Oracle Forms investments in a SOA. It provides a best practice roadmap that identifies the next steps for key Oracle products - such as Oracle Forms, PL/SQL, Designer, Discoverer and Oracle Workflow - and how to move these into a SOA. This presentation will walk through a case study showing how an Oracle Forms v5 client/server application evolved through a series of transformations to embrace the following key SOA technologies from Oracle; BPEL, Business Rules, BI and Oracle ADF.

ORACLE ADF - BUILDING RICH INTERNET APPLICATIONS AND WEB 2.0 USER INTERFACES

The stale "click and wait" interaction associated with traditional web applications is no longer acceptable. Users now expect real-time updates and desktop-like functionality. This presentation will walk through a number of case studies demonstrating how Oracle ADF raises the bar for web based UIs. This presentation will show how blending the various UI technologies available within Oracle ADF Faces enables developers to create more interactive, dynamic, and engaging user experiences which directly translate into higher customer acquisition and increased customer loyalty.
